Khorasan represents one of the major historic carpet-weaving regions of northeastern Iran, while Mashhad is its best-known urban weaving center. Hand-knotted Khorasan and Mashhad Persian carpets may feature quality wool, wool-and-silk construction, selected silk pieces, substantial central medallions, elaborate floral fields, and rich palettes of red, burgundy, blue, navy, ivory, and complementary tones. Regional identity covers a broad range of workshops and periods, so every carpet must be assessed through its own materials, structure, design, condition, and provenance. Available pieces are documented with actual photography, dimensions, materials, condition, design information, signatures or certification where genuinely present, and relevant provenance details. References to recognized Mashhad weaving traditions or master weavers are treated as attribution questions that require evidence rather than as automatic quality labels. Searches can be defined by dimensions, material, Raj, color palette, medallion structure, condition, budget, and intended use, with international delivery coordinated separately after selection.
