Powder Blue Isfahan Floral Medallion
A pale powder-blue field holds a dark navy and cream central medallion, surrounded by finely branching floral vines. A navy border packed with small flowers frames the lighter centre, with warm golden lines separating design zones.
The relationship between a light field and a deep border is the main strength of PRR-HM-004. Its central motif is elaborate but remains readable because the surrounding blue ground is comparatively open. The wide-angle image helps evaluate its overall balance, while the detailed image shows how the floral scrolls interlock across the centre.
Design, dimensions and informed selection
Recorded as a 200 × 300 cm Isfahan wool-and-silk hand-knotted rug, it carries a weaver signature and the seller-stated 60 Raj classification. The original title calls it museum quality; that is a seller description, not an independently certified museum assessment. Its six-square-metre nominal format is suited to an arrangement where the borders can remain visible.
